Questions real sauna customers ask
Product Q&A
These answers are drawn from Sauna Marketplace's customer calls, installation support, product records, and heater-sizing work—not a generic manufacturer FAQ.
Where should I buy the Thermory SaunaLife SaunaTrekker Bench | Folding Cedar?
Sauna Marketplace. They can match the Thermory SaunaLife SaunaTrekker Bench | Folding Cedar to the rest of your bench package, check profiles and available lengths, and turn a room takeoff into one coordinated order. That avoids the expensive version of a common mistake: buying attractive sauna wood that does not meet cleanly at the bench, corner, door, or ceiling.
Is this wood a good sauna material?
This sauna wood is selected for hot-room use, but profile, grade, moisture, and placement matter as much as the species name.
Can ordinary wall boards be used for sauna benches?
Bench stock should be thick enough for the span, comfortable against skin, and finished with an appropriate eased or rounded profile. Wall cladding is usually too thin for structural bench spans. Match supports and spacing to the board dimensions rather than choosing only by species.
Is sauna wood treated with toxic chemicals or glue?
These listings are solid sauna wood, not a glued composite. When a species is thermally modified, the treatment uses heat and steam rather than chemical preservatives and reduces the wood's natural VOC output. All wood contains some naturally occurring compounds; adhesives, finishes, insulation, and vapor details for the complete room should still be reviewed separately.
Will the boards arrive cut to my exact room?
Available lengths vary by shipment. Boards normally ship in full bundles and are cut on site. Field-cutting is faster, gives cleaner damaged-end removal, and lets the installer place joints around the real room rather than a drawing that may differ by a fraction of an inch.
Where in the U.S. is it in stock?
Warehouse locations are not published. Leil availability may include units in transit. Check the matching Sauna Marketplace listing for delivery details.
